The recommended standard dose is 2-3 tablets of Tranexamic acid 500mg two to three times daily and one tablet of Tranexamic acid 250 mg two to four times daily. According to the indications, the dose is as follows:
- Menorrhagia: 2 tablets of Lyplas-500 is to be taken 3 times daily for up to 4 days. In case of heavy menstrual bleeding, dosage may be increased not exceeding a total dose of 4 g daily
- Traumatic Hyphema: 2-3 tablets of Lyplas-500 is to be taken 3 times daily
- Haemophilia: In the management of dental extractions 2-3 tablets of Lyplas-500 is to be taken three times daily
